Josh & Arielle Rose Walmsley

Josh discovered his passion for arboriculture when he began working in the tree industry because of the unique challenge each tree presents. He strove to absorb everything he could about the industry from the basics to the very complex. After working for several larger companies, with the help of his wife Arielle, Josh decided to use his skills to open Green Valley Tree in 2015. By starting Green Valley Tree, Josh’s main goal was to assemble a crew of people passionate about the tree care industry, and in turn provide excellent tree care and customer service.

In 2018, Josh obtained both his Connecticut and Rhode Island state Arborist licenses. He also regularly attends workshops and seminars, and consults with other businesses, to stay up to date with new industry techniques, safety procedures and best business practices.

Josh is involved with every job from start to finish. He meets with each potential customer to discuss their vision and answer any questions they may have, and then writes up a comprehensive plan fitting both the customer’s budget and needs. Josh then spends his time working alongside the Green Valley Tree crew to make sure the scope of work is carried out to the customer’s satisfaction.
